Jardín Botánico, The botanic garden of Ecuador’s largest city is situated on a hill overlooking the Guayas and Daule rivers. Development of the garden began in 1979 and it opened to the public in 1989. There is a particular emphasis on the plants of Ecuador’s tropical coastal zone.

Zoo el Pantanal, has a variety of animals that originated the Zoo The Pantanal began forming in the late 80’s, injured birds without possibility of being returned to their natural habitat, wild pets abandoned by their owners and mainly animals from other zoos that closed their doors.

Iguanas Park is a small traditional public urban park located in the Rocafuerte area in the center of the city of Guayaquil. It was originally the Plaza de Armas in the colonial city, but over time lost that character. In this park you can see a monument to Simon Bolivar , as well as a variety of iguanas Iguana iguana species.
